OverviewKathleen Gagan, owner of Peony's Envy, gives lectures and demonstrations on peony care, planting, cultivation, and history throughout the country. Presentations are tailored to the group's background and interests and utilize a plethora of images from the garden. Please note that lectures and speeches are conducted in formal venues separate from the garden. Recent Lectures include those to the: Garden Club of America, Federated Garden Clubs, Boston Flower Show, Longwood Gardens, Hortus Club of New York, the Virginia Horticultural Foundation. At the GardenPeony's Envy is open to the public for the peony bloom from May 1 - June 15. Peony's Envy welcomes groups during this time for self guided tours. We ask that groups of 10 or larger wishing to walk through the garden to please give us advanced notice by emailing peony@peonysenvy.com. With an advanced request it is possible to come early, at 10am before the gardens officially open. Please also note that parking is limited and carpooling is appreciated. |
